            The short version: Dwelco collects only the data needed to provide your home inventory and maintenance service. We never sell your personal or home data to any third party. Ever.
        

1. Who We Are

Dwelco ("Dwelco," "we," "us," or "our") is an AI-powered home inventory and maintenance platform operated by Agentic Flow Company. Our registered contact is admin@dwelco.ai. Our service is available at dwelco.ai and app.dwelco.ai.

2. What Data We Collect

2.1 Account Data

When you create an account, we collect:

Email address
Name (optional, used to personalize your experience)
Password (stored as a one-way cryptographic hash — we never see your raw password)

2.2 Home Inventory Data

To provide the core service, we collect and store:

Photos of appliances, fixtures, and systems you scan
Model numbers, serial numbers, brand names, and purchase dates you provide or that our AI identifies
Warranty periods, maintenance schedules, and service history you log
Purchase prices and receipts you upload
Property addresses or labels (e.g., "Main Home," "Vacation Cabin") you create

2.3 Usage Data

We automatically collect limited technical data to operate and improve the service:

Browser type and version
Device type and operating system
Pages visited and features used (via Google Analytics 4)
Session duration and click patterns (aggregated, not personally identified)
IP address (used for security and fraud detection; not linked to your profile)

2.4 Payment Data

If you upgrade to a paid plan, payment is processed by our third-party payment processor. Dwelco does not store or have access to your full credit card number, CVV, or banking details. We store only your subscription tier and billing status.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data exclusively to:

Provide, operate, and maintain the Dwelco service
Identify appliances and generate maintenance schedules using our AI systems
Send maintenance reminders and warranty expiration alerts you have enabled
Generate insurance-ready inventory reports you request
Respond to support requests you submit
Improve product features using aggregated, anonymized usage patterns
Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your home inventory data to train general-purpose AI models that are shared outside Dwelco without your explicit consent.

4. How We Share Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers: We use trusted sub-processors (cloud storage, authentication, analytics) who are contractually bound to process data only on our behalf and under our instructions.
Invited household members: If you invite another user to your home profile, they will have access to the inventory data for that property, scoped to the role you assign (Editor or Viewer).
Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, and will notify you where legally permitted.
Business transfers: If Dwelco is acquired or merges with another company, your data may be transferred. We will notify you before your data is subject to a materially different privacy policy.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

Encryption at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+)
Row-level security isolating each household's data
Access controls limiting employee access to production data
Regular security reviews

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and enable two-factor authentication where available.

6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use the following technologies:

Essential cookies: Required for authentication and session management. Cannot be disabled.
Analytics (Google Analytics 4): We use GA4 to understand how visitors use our website. GA4 data is anonymized and aggregated. You can opt out via Google's opt-out browser add-on.

We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account:

Your personal profile and inventory data are deleted within 30 days
Backups containing your data are purged within 90 days
Aggregated, anonymized analytics data (which cannot identify you) may be retained indefinitely

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

For California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)

Right to Know: Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
Right to Opt Out of Sale: We do not sell personal information. This right does not apply, but you may still submit a request for our records.
Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

For EEA / UK Residents (GDPR)

Right to Rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.

9. Children's Privacy

Dwelco is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately at admin@dwelco.ai.

Our website and app may contain links to third-party websites (such as appliance manufacturer sites). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a new effective date, and where appropriate, by email. Your continued use of Dwelco after any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
